Jobbik, the Movement for a Better Hungary (Hungarian: Jobbik Magyarországért Mozgalom), commonly known as Jobbik (pronounced [ˈjobːik]), is a Hungarian nationalist[19][20] political party. The party describes itself as “a principled, conservative and radically patriotic Christian party”, whose “fundamental purpose” is the protection of “Hungarian values and interests.”[21] By contrast, the party has been described by others as “neo-Nazi” and an “antisemitic organization”[22]. After the Hungarian parliamentary elections on 6 April 2014, the party polled 1,020,476 votes, securing 20.54% of the total, making them Hungary’s third largest party in the National Assembly.
